Tour Itinerary: 

Day 1: Amman Airport – Amman Hotel

With a signage our representative welcomes you at Queen Alia International Airport. Transfer to Amman hotel, check in and overnight.

Day 2: Amman Hotel – Jerash – Dead Sea Beach Amman Hotel (B)

After breakfast, drive 50 kms northward to Jerash the best example of a well preserved Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East comprising paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, handsome theaters and spacious public squares and plazas. Afterwards drive to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea with the highest content of minerals and salts in the world, the Dead Sea water possesses anti-inflammatory properties and the dark mud found on its shores have been used for over 2000 years for therapeutic purposes. You have leisure time and a chance to experience floating at the salty waters. Transfer to Amman for overnight.

Day 3: Amman Hotel – Allenby Bridge – Jerusalem Tour Allenby Bridge Amman Hotel (B)

Morning pick up at the hotel lobby. Drive to Allenby Bridge and cross the border on your own. Start the tour with a panoramic view from The Mount of Olives, a good place for an introduction to the city and its history. You visit the Holy sites of the three monotheistic religions, represented in Jerusalem. Start with the walking to the Wailing Wall, which represents the last remnants of the Jewish Temple, destroyed by the Romans. Usually you can see the various types of Jews who come to worship at this holy place. Then we continue through the Arab Market (“Suq”) to the “Via Dolorosa”, Jesus’ “Way of Suffering”, which leads us to The Church of the Holy Sepulchure, where according to the Christian tradition Jesus was crucified and buried. Back to the border to cross back to Jordan, you meet your driver outside the terminal area. Transfer back to Amman Hotel.

Day 4: Amman Hotel – Petra Tour – Amman Hotel (B)

After breakfast pick up at hotel lobby. Via the Desert Highway drive 3 hrs to Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Start your visit by a walk or a short horse ride (included in the ticket, horse handler expects a tip) from main entrance up to the Siq, a  350 meters confined canyon. As you reach the end of Siq you will see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. The guide will be with you up to the restaurant area, you can explore Petra in your own, then walk the same route back to the entrance gate to meet your driver. Transfer back to Amman Hotel for overnight.

Day 5: Amman Hotel – Amman Airport (B)

Free until transfer back to Amman Airport to say farewell and board your flight.
