Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Amman Airport – Amman City Tour Amman Hotel

With a signage our representative meets you after the customs. Transfer to your Amman hotel, check in. Overnight in Amman.

Day 2: Amman Hotel – Pella – Umm Qais – Jerash Amman Hotel (B)

After breakfast drive to Pella, one of the most ancient towns and a favorite of archaeologists. Here you see ruins of Chalcolithic settlement from the 4th millennium BC, early Islamic residential, small medieval mosque, Byzantine churches and walled cities from Bronze and Iron age. Continue to Umm Qais perched on a splendid hilltop and overlooking the Sea of Galilee and Jordan Valley. Umm Qais is a dazzling Greco-Roman city of Decapolis, you see noble ancient remains such as basalt theater, colonnaded main street, basilica and more remnants from the past. Next to Jerash the best example of a well preserved Roman City in the Middle East. You visit the Temple of Artemis, Roman colonnaded street and Nymphaeum. Transfer back to Amman Hotel.

Day 3: Amman Hotel – 3 Desert Castles Amman Hotel (B)

After breakfast start your tour to the Desert Castles in east of Jordan. Visit Amra Castle a UNESCO World Heritage Site, adorns with its zodiac dome and the early examples of Omayyad fresco paintings. Next is the best known castle and one of earliest example of Islamic architecture the Qasr Kharanah. Based on its graffito in one of its room, it was believed to have been built before the 8th century AD. The last castle to visit is the black basalt Roman/Medieval Islamic fort at Azraq. Transfer to Amman for overnight.

Day 4: Amman Hotel – Madaba – Mt Nebo – Mukawir – Baptism Site Amman Hotel (B)

After breakfast visit the town of Madaba to see the famous 6th century Byzantine Mosaic map on the floor of St George Church. Continue to Mount Nebo offering a spectacular view of the holy land. Then to Mukawir the fort of King Herod who was Roman appointed ruler over the region during the life of Jesus Christ. This is place where John the Baptist was beheaded. Afterwards drive to Baptism site the place where Jesus was Baptist by John. Transfer back to Amman Hotel.

Day 5: Amman Hotel – Petra Tour – Petra Hotel (B)

Pick up at the lobby of Amman Hotel. Drive about 2.5 – 3 hrs via the Desert Highway to Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. It was established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. From visitor center start tour with a local, you enter through the Siq, where you will see rock formations at the end of the Siq is the most beautiful monument: the Treasury (Al Khazneh). With guide continue via the Street of Facades, lined with monument up to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. The guide says farewell at the restaurant area, you can explore Petra on your own or walk the same route to the entrance. Overnight Petra.

Day 6: Petra Hotel Little Petra Wadi Rum Hiking and Jeep Ride (B, Lunch Box, D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Just a few minutes drive is the Al Beidha, also known as Little Petra, it is literally hidden away in the centre of mountain with a classic temple standing guard outside the mini-siq. You see a mini version of Petra that contains a number of notable tomb. Drive 1.5 hrs to Wadi Rum an area with a dramatic history. First to visit is the Lawrence of Arabia’s Spring then head to Jebel Khazali canyon to walk for half an hour. By jeep continue to small bridge before driving to Umm Frouth Rock Bridge. Lunch at the desert and rest for a while before continuing to Lawrence’s house. Then to the ancient Thamudic Inscriprtions at Jebel Anfashieh and sand dune area. Continue to campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Wadi Rum Hiking (B, Lunch Box, D)

Breakfast at the camp. By foot hike to the Jebel Burrah Canyon. Stop for lunch and to relax before continuing to Wadi Umm Ishrin to Um Rashid canyon . By foot proceed to campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Wadi Rum Jeep Tour (B, Lunch Box, D)

After breakfast, go to Jebel Burdah by jeep to scramble up towards Burdah Rock Bridge to see an amazing view from the top. Visit the White Desert located in west part of Wadi Rum. From here drive to Wadi Sabet and near Jebel Um Adami which is the highest mountain in Jodan. Drive back to campsite for overnight and dinner.

Day 9: Wadi Rum Aqaba Hotel (B)

Breakfast at the camp, by jeep return to Rum village for transfer to Aqaba. The Gulf of Aqaba is a renowned worldwide as a tourist’s paradise overflowing with wildlife and adventure. It hosts about 110 species of soft corals, 120 species of hard corals, and over 1000 species of fish. Check in and overnight in Aqaba.

Day 10: Aqaba Leisure (B)

Full day is free for your own leisure.

Day 11: Aqaba Hotel Dana Village Kerak Dead Sea Hotel (B)

After breakfast depart Aqaba and drive to the stone village of Dana, the place offers an exceptional view and a nice place to spend time and to hike (not included in the package). Continue to Kerak to visit a famous crusader castle, built by King Baldwin 1 of Jerusalem. Afterwards to Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, here you have leisure time, check in and overnight.

Day 12: Dead Sea Leisure (B)

Free day to enjoy and relax at the Dead Sea Beach.

Day 13: Dead Sea Hotel Amman Airport (B)

Free time until transfer to Amman Airport to board your departure flight.
